The meeting began at 7:00. Steve read an email from Shaun stating why he would not be at tonight’s meeting or tomorrow’s town meeting.  Steve asked if one of them would ask for nominations for moderator and then turn the meeting over to Larry if he gets reelected.  Tom stated he would do it. 

Steve distributed the CUD reappointment form for the current year for signatures.

The Orders and monthly budget comparison were distributed for examination and signatures.

Tom said that the outside contracting and highway labor budget line items were still incorrect.  Steve stated that he fixed them on the town report but hadn’t yet corrected the budget amounts in Quickbooks which is where the monthly budget comparison comes from.

Tom asked if the Roberts fuel was still an issue.  Steve stated that they finally weren’t trying to charge us taxes. 

Discussion on town meeting setup and heat followed.

Tom stated that the new lights at the town garage were not working.  The heat pump is installed at the firehouse.

Steve stated the Planning Commission has three vacancies and the Warning only stated two so the Selectboard will have to appoint one member for one year to fill that spot.

Tom asked if our State Representative ever came in or if he would be at town meeting?

Steve stated he has never been in this office.

Delinquent taxes were discussed. 

The condition of some roads were discussed.  Tom asked if Steve had received any complaints about the roads?  Steve stated he had heard a few.

Tom made a motion to accept the February 3, 2025, minutes as written. Shannon seconded the motion and the minutes were accepted as written.

Tom said that he thought it would be appropriate that we should do a moment of silence in Art’s memory.  Steve will tell Larry to do it after he gets elected moderator.

There being no other business, Tom made a motion to adjourn at 7:45.  Shannon seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned.
